Carlos Beato

Mr. Beato provides counsel in labor and employment law and litigation, including employee benefits litigation. 

Prior to joining Pitta LLP, Mr. Beato worked full-time while attending law school in the evening as a case manager at the Bronx Family Court program for Safe Horizon, an organization that provides support, prevents violence, and promotes justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. Mr. Beato provided victims of domestic violence with assistance filing orders of protection, custody and child support while also providing crisis counseling and housing advocacy. 

He recently co-authored an article in the Labor Law Journal with Jane Lauer Barker, Esq. entitled “Supervisors Under the NLRA: Oakwood Healthcare One Year Later.”
